I love Willemien Steven's cards. They are different from any cards I've ever seen and have a quirky sense of humour that is all their own.
Although I've stocked her cards since the shop opened this latest order that arrived yesterday is mostly designs I've not sold before.
Willemien puts her embroidered appliqued pictures in white painted frames. The look is clean and fresh.
Her stand was often near to mine when I did the Country Living magazine shows in London and I always admired her style. I used to say to her that if ever I had a shop I would want to stock her cards...
