I love this statue of a man flying a kite on a bridge. Look how the kite string becomes part of the structure of the bridge.

Yesterday I met my youngest, who wants to live in Winchester one day, and we walked. Our two favourite places - The Discovery Centre library and The Hambledon shop were closed it being Bank Holiday Monday - but we enjoyed looking in lots of shops and looking up at the wonderful architecture of Winchester. More tomorrow.
