Brick Lane is a new shop in Petersfield that stocks 'Mid Century Modern' pieces or in other words fifties and sixties furniture, glass and ceramics. I bought a white anglepoise lamp there in brilliant condition for £30 and got chatting to Jim who owns the shop and has been collecting choice pieces for years and years. I started working there part-time last week and I'm enjoying getting to know more about designers of that period. I think these chairs (£25 each) and table (£40) look really contemporary and desirable.
